All sale proceeds go to support Reston Regional Library and the Fairfax County Public Library system.
The Reston Friends, like the Friends of other branches, are all unpaid volunteers donating their time and energy to assist and sustain our local libraries. All sale items have been generously donated by our local community friends and neighbors. Thank you! And yes, donations of your gently used books and media are always welcome and appreciated, as are your time and talents when you join us.

Some restrictions apply, so if you wish to buy in bulk, for instance, please contact the Friends in advance to discuss your needs. Policies and guidelines will be posted at the sale itself.

Please contact the Reston Friends with specific questions by email at or call to leave a message at 703-829-5467.

Note: No children’s books are offered at this sale. Separate children/teen sales will be held in August 2014.

Children/Educators and Teen Used Book Sales - an Outstanding Success

The Children/Educators and Teen used book sales held March 20-23 brought in a total of $13,758.88!

Thank you to everyone who helped us set up, run, and take down the sale.  It was a difficult week due to the library being closed on a set up day, but many of you came extra days to help us get ready. You are true Friends indeed! Look for the next Children/Educators/Teens book sales in the fall.
