Reston Friends Book Sales for Children/Teens/Educators Start April 7

Now that spring is here, you and your peeps don't want to miss the chance to feather your nests with gently used books and teaching materials for children/educators, and books for teens.  Hop on over to the big spring children/teens sales sponsored by the Friends of the Reston Regional Library!  We have all your favorite children's book authors!


Dates are:    Thursday through Sunday, April 7-10

Thursday, April 7  --  10 am - 8 pm
Friday, April 8  --  10 am - 5 pm
Saturday, April 9  --  10 am - 4 pm
Sunday, April 10  --  1 - 3:30 pm


(Yes, a little bird told us prices are really cheep!)  Payment is by cash or check, with credit card acceptance subject to service availability.  No scanners or electronic devices at any time.  All proceeds go to benefit the Reston Regional Library and the Fairfax County Public Library system.  First day quantities may be limited.

Reston Friends to Hold Mystery & Adventure Mini Sale February 4-7

February is the month to dive into a pile of Mystery/Adventure books, plus DVD's and audio cd's.  Restock your reading/viewing/listening materials now.  Forget about the weather conditions outside and let your imagination run wild.  Get snowed in with your favorite authors!

The Friends of the Reston Regional Library will hold a Mystery & Adventure Used Book and Media Sale on Thursday, February 4 through Sunday, February 7.


Come and pick your "poison" at the library....

Thursday, Feb 4  --  10 am to 7 pm
Friday, Feb 5  --  10 am to 6 pm
Saturday, Feb 6  --  10 am to 5 pm
Sunday, Feb 7  --  1 pm to 5 pm


All proceeds go to support the Reston Regional Library and the Fairfax County Public Library system.

--    The Spring 2016 Semi-Annual used book sale members night will be Wednesday, April 20;  the sale opens to the public on Thursday, April 21 and runs through Sunday, April 24.

Annual Holiday Open House at the Reston Regional Library on Saturday, December 12

The Reston Regional Library is hosting its annual Open House on Saturday, December 12, 2015, between 11:00 and 1:30 pm.  In addition to light refreshments and good cheer, we are also fortunate to have Emma Rood, a harpist and student at Herndon High, playing live classical and holiday music to accompany your book browsing.  Please come join the library staff and the Reston Friends as we celebrate the holiday season!
