Holiday Sale Continues

Here are some photos from the first day of the Holiday Sale.  If you see great titles, don't despair! We're restocking constantly.  There will be good stuff all the way to the end! Thank you for supporting Friends of Reston Regional Library, and Reston Regional Library programs!

In other news, our Amazon2 site is back up. Our volunteer who runs it had been out of town. She reports that within an hour of 'turning it back on', three books had sold! Thanks to all of you who donate books - it pays off in REAL MONEY for YOUR library!

The Holiday Mini-Sale will continue through mid-day Monday. Here's your chance to stock up without having to go to a mall and fight the crowds in order to pay those exorbitant prices. Come by during library hours at 11925 Bowman Towne Dr., Reston, VA 20190.

First Day Success

Thank you patrons! A steady stream of customers yesterday at the first day of the Holiday Mini-Sale yielded over $1000! There were cookbooks, music, childrens books, holiday themed books, mysteries, non-fiction...you get the picture! As the blogger worked the back room preparing books for restocking, it was evident that the sale is worth visiting daily!

Don't miss the display case - it is full of holiday themed special books and gifts at bargain basement prices. The blown-glass hearts on the top shelf are particularly nice for a sweetheart gift.

On Sunday the branch manager will host a Holiday Open House at the library from 1-3 pm. That will be the last full day of the sale so don't miss either event!

Holiday Sale!

Today is the day!  The 2008 Holiday Mini-Sale begins at 10 a.m. at Reston Regional Library today. Gift books and other gift items will be available for your purchase.  We take checks and cash. If you can't get there today, don't despair! The sale runs through the 8th and we'll be restocking regularly.

Do not miss the items for sale in the display case. There are many beautiful 'gifty' things that will be just perfect for someone on your list, and all at an affordable price! We look forward to seeing you!
