Fun Summer Events

Are there any monkeys in your house? There will be at the library on Sunday, July 19 at 2:00 with John Hadfield. This program is targeted for preschool. As of today, there are still openings, so call the library at 703-689-2700 or register here. John is a tremendously versatile performer and will have your monkeys swinging from your own chandeliers! Co-sponsored with George Mason Regional Library and Reston Regional Library. No actual monkeys will be present during the event.

Read Yourself Silly with Flow Circus is a children's event coming to the Reston Regional Library next Thursday. It's for School Age children (6-12) and begins at 10:30. You need to register by calling the library at 703-689-2700 or doing it here. Cosponsored by the Friends of the Reston Regional Library.

And on Monday, July 27, get your preschoolers to the library for the fire safety show! Rather unimaginatively titled, "Lighters and Matches are Tools for Grownups Only", this is a puppet show about fire safety directed at the preschool crowd. It starts at 10:30 and participants will receive a helmet, activity book and parent brochure.
There are openings for Ages 3-5 with adult. You can register by calling the library at 703-689-2700 or going here.
