The temperatures are beginning to drop, the days are getting shorter.... it's the perfect time to sit cozy around the table with a nice brain-teasing jigsaw puzzle or a table top family game that requires no electricity (conversation optional!).
Stop by the Library for the Friends Annual Puzzles and Games mini-Sale! Gently used puzzles and games available for all ages.
Oct 27th – Oct 30th during library hours
Stop standing on the sidewalk staring at a shrub, waiting for a Pokemon
to appear. (The neighbors are starting to talk). Come inside from the
cold and try your hand at a jigsaw puzzle or a board game. Sure, the
kids will scoff at first, but give it a try. In the worst case, you can
tell them there's a Snorlax at the bottom of the box, or that searching
for missing pieces will make them better at finding Dragonite.
Perhaps you're thinking you don't have room for any more puzzles?? You're in luck! You can DONATE your own gently used puzzles and games right up to October 21st.... just in time to make room for new ones.
Bring donations to the circulation desk at the library or call 703-829-5467 for pick-up of a large number.
See you at the library!
