FALL BOOK SALE this week WEDNESDAY-SUNDAY (9/26-30)

September is here! It's the perfect time to fall into a good book, so you really autumn come to our semi-annual used book sale.  Go nuts over a new bestseller or turn the leaves in a familiar classic.  No matter how many you've red, you're bound to find gold at our sale. Even if this is acorny way to remind you, orange you glad we did?

This is a big one, folks! We have over 800 boxes of gently used books just waiting to go home with some lucky new owners.  Please come shop your hearts out so we don't have to throw our backs out. The more you buy, the less we have to pack up on the last day --- and the more we can raise for library and literacy programs, equipment, and materials in our community.  (Bonus: we restock every day, so the more you buy, the more new stuff we can put out!) No matter your interests, we feel confident you can find something at our sale.  

Friends Members - Shop Members Night:  Wednesday, 26-Sep from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.  Join, verify, or renew your membership at the door. $15 per household; $5 for 65-and-over.

Open Sale runs Thursday, Sept 27 through Sunday, September 30.

Thursday  27-Sep  10:00am to 8:00pm

Friday        28-Sep  10:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday   29-Sep  10:00am to 4:00pm

Sunday      30-Sep  12noon to 3:30pm

There's free parking for patrons at the library, as well as access via the Fairfax Connector bus system.  p.s. - There will be NO CHILDREN's BOOKS at this sale.  SCANNERS are not allowed on digital media or in Charly's Corner.  We all get excited about books but that doesn't mean freeforall.  We reserve the right to limit quantities or ask folks to leave if they are being discourteous to fellow patrons or damaging the materials. This is a charity book sale, not a dress closeout at Barney's. We restock as long as supplies last.  No deposit, no return. Your mileage may vary.  Reduce, reuse, recycle.  Warning: reading may cause an increase in knowledge and enjoyment.  Please read responsibly.
