NEED PUZZLES!

We need YOU to donate your used PUZZLES for the puzzle sale! It's that simple...the ultimate recycling.

  1. You work the puzzle,
  2. Enjoy the mental challenge,
  3. Show it off to your friends and family
  4. Get tired of working around it in your family/dining/kitchen area,
  5. Throw it in the box,
  6. Tape the sides!
  7. Donate it to the Friends of Reston Regional Library,
  8. Attend the Puzzle Sale Nov 4-8 and buy more at fabulous prices!
  9. Feel REALLY smart for planning ahead when the weather gets lousy!
Note to self: Do NOT buy the same puzzles I just donated!

PUZZLE SALE TODAY

TODAY, THURSDAY NOVEMBER 5, is the first day of the

JIGSAW PUZZLE MINI-SALE

Held during library hours in the "New Books" area of the library this sale recycles gently used jigsaw puzzles of all types. The best selection is available during the first couple of days, but we'll run through Monday or as long as they last.

Puzzles are a great 'common ground' activity for holiday guests. Most people can't resist sidling up to the table where the puzzle is and trying a piece or two. Stock up now for the long winter ahead!

We've Been Blogged

Check out what Restonian said about our sale! It seems the efforts we've made to increase civility are starting pay off. The yeoman efforts our book specialists make to restock and cull are also paying off. We've made more money so far this sale than any in the past, and closing earlier each day (due to new library hours) gives our volunteers a chance to recover some before the next day!

Donations will be accepted again beginning October 6. We look forward to seeing you at the following sales:

Jigsaw Puzzle Mini Sale (November)
Holiday Mini Sale (December )
Mystery Mini Sale (February)
Childrens & Young Adult Sale (March)
Semi-Annual Used Book Sale (April)

So watch this spot for more details!
